Shri HM Patel Trophy for Young Scientist:
Shri HM Patel Memorial Trophy was initiated to generate the interest in research among junior IAPSM members. A rotatory trophy is given away to the winners of the oral presentation in the scientific session held in the Annual conference of the IAPSM-GC.
Persons who are considered for the award are:
- Not more than 45 years,
- Not holding a post above the rank of Assistant Professor (or equivalent post) or currently registered as postgraduate student (all courses other than PhD).
- Participant should be a medical graduate and the member of the chapter.
Other conditions: Paper considered, should be based on original research work and the person considered should be the first and the presenting author of the work. If the need arises, the author has to produce a certificate of this effect, signed by all the co-authors.
Selection for the winner: All the participants are assessed by a panel of minimum of 3 judges formed by the Organizing Secretary. Result is announced in the closing function or the GBM of the chapter and the trophy and certificate are presented there.
